The Ghost Stories of Enfield<\/h4>\n

is a concept created and run in partnership with ‘Enfield LGBT Network<\/strong>‘ & ‘The Dread House Haunts<\/strong>‘.<\/p>\n

It was started in 2025 as a project to address the in balance of recorded stories in the London’s most northerly borough. Enfield has an extremely long and recorded history and with that a number of stories that have been passed down over the years. The most most famous of all is the Green street ghost, where a film and television programme have been made. If you type in Enfield Ghosts in a search engine you will see 5 or 6 pages of references to this story, which leaves all of the others far behind. I wanted to address this issue, growing up in the borough I have been aware of far more occurrences than the most popular and I wanted to give a voice to these before they are lost forever.<\/p>\n

The project is funded by Enfield Voluntary Action’s heritage fund. The start of the project has been slow despite the first month producing a promising start. I have a number of stories still to share here and they will be coming over the next three months with an immersive experience in January 2027.<\/p>\n
